brinfo

brinfo is a lightweight and simple Brother status monitor tool I made using C and XForms. It is designed for UN*X based systems.

It can grab information (e.g. toner levels, drum health) It uses PJL commands to get this infromation. It has only been tested on the Brother HL-1110, but should work on other Brother printers in theory.

There was no program that did this task and I wanted to learn XForms.

So I made this small program, brinfo.
